Starting off in Kenya's second-largest city, we will meet each other, check in to our hotel and then head out to explore! Should we wander around the old town again or hit the beach?

Let's go on a Safari!
Tsavo East
Our adventure in Africa officially begins this morning: we will meet the guide who will accompany us for the following days!
We load the backpacks on our jeeps and off we go, towards Tsavo East!
Our first jeep ride!
After a few hours of driving, we settle in our lodge and immediately set off for the first attempt to spot the big 5! Don't forget your binoculars!

A day in the savannah
Today, we venture out early in our jeeps, seeking dozing lions and relishing the awakening nature. This park appealed to us for being Kenya's largest with no fences, allowing animals to roam freely, just as nature intended! Today, we've got the entire day to explore every nook and cranny of this park, and we won't waste a moment! Our aim? To capture a treasure trove of incredible wildlife photos to proudly share with our loved ones! As the evening falls, we retreat to our lodge for a refreshing pool plunge—an invigorating break before we gather under the star-lit sky for our own private evening. Amidst the heart of African nature, the sky displays its unparalleled beauty. Will we be lucky enough to spot shooting stars? If so, we already have our wishes lined up...

Adventurers by profession!
We'll look like safari experts by now, but... have we sharpened our eyes? Maybe at the end of the day we will finally be able to say that we have seen all the “big five” (elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo)!
Evening under the stars
Our guide is passionate about astronomy, what better evening to watch an incredible starry sky with its stories? Far from light pollution, we will have one of the most amazing nights of our lives!

Say hello to hippos!
One last safari!
Before leaving our park, we take a last jeep ride: we admire for the last time the colours of the savannah that have accompanied us for half of the journey. It's time to say goodbye to the heart of Africa to embark on new adventures!

Before definitively saying goodbye to the local fauna, however, we have one last stop: we stop along a river famous for being frequented by... hippos!
These huge mammals come here to drink and relax, so much so that seen from a distance they look like sea lions enjoying the sun!
In short: more photos to take, do we have enough memory in our phones? Let's hope so!

We immerse ourselves in the local culture!
Where does all this green come from?
Not far from Malindi, where we slept last night, is the Mida Creek: it seems incredible, but we will go from the warm and intense yellow and red of the savannah to the green and emerald of the luxuriant nature of the mangrove forest.
Local culture and a little romance!
In the afternoon we move to a local village, where there will be the opportunity to touch the life of the people: we will be able to see a typical Kenyan house, their customs and take a walk with them ... on the bed of a river full of mangroves! It will be an experience that we will probably only have once in a lifetime, so... let's enjoy it to the fullest! Do you think it ended here? Hey we are on WeRoad! It's time to get on a small boat and enjoy the sunset from the river!

Finally sea!
The Golden Beach
This morning we will go to Che Shale beach, one of the most renowned in the area for its characteristic golden sand! We enjoy the crystal clear sea and the sun: finally we can work on our tan!
After our first dip in the Indian Ocean, how about a fish lunch on the beach?
Relax in Malindi
We deserve the beach!
After all the excursions, it's finally time to relax on the beach: we arrive in Malindi and put on the swimsuit - today we can keep it for the whole day, we don't plan to work hard!
Malindi offers some of the most beautiful beaches in Africa and the possibility of snorkelling, so it will be up to us to choose whether we simply want to relax on the beach and enjoy the sea, or whether to put on fins, mask and snorkel and explore the seabed!

On this last day of relaxation we can choose whether to visit the so-called "Sardinia 2" beach or simply choose a new beach where we can chat and play some games together.
