Colombia 360°: Bogota, Medellin and beyond
Want to travel to Colombia from September?
The trip in a nutshell
One trip to Colombia is probably not enough to discover everything this country has to offer, but we will try our best to experience the four different climates as well as the strong and wonderful cultural diversity.
We will start from the capital Bogotá but soon immerse ourselves in the Colombian nature by reaching Salento, where we will discover how coffee is produced and walk underneath the tallest palm trees in the world in the Cocora Valley. Once in Medellín, we will learn how the Comuna 13 has become a symbol of rebirth after years of neglect and crime. Let's head to the coast next: our route will take us through Tayrona Park, an incredible national park, and up to the Caribbean, visiting Cartagena first and then Isla del Rosario. We round our adventure off by travelling back to Bogotá for one last chance of total immersion in Colombian culture, letting ourselves be embraced by the music, colours and smiles of this extraordinary country.
