Discover the city

We’ll begin our tour of discovery by boarding the famous tram 28, which winds its way through the city's most characteristic streets. Its route starts at Campo de Ourique and passes through Lisbon's most picturesque neighbourhoods before arriving at Praça Martim Moniz.

Along the way, a must-see is the Mercado da Ribeira, where we’ll be able to try the many wonderful delicacies...

After an excellent snack, we’ll continue on foot along Av. Ribeira das Naus to reach the spectacular Praça do Comércio, surrounded by imposing yellow buildings that create an amusing play of colours. Passing under the great Arch of Rua Augusta, we’ll arrive at the street of the same name, the main street of Baixa, along which we find the Elevador de Santa Justa, from which we’ll get to admire a spectacular panorama, the Convento do Carmo and the next stop, Rossio, one of the city's landmarks with its unmistakable wavy pavement.

We’ll spend the second half of the day wandering through the quaint alleyways of Alfama, the city's oldest and most picturesque district. Most of the houses are pastel-coloured or covered in chipped azulejos. Here you will also find the Castillo del S. Jorge and in Largo da Sé, Lisbon's cathedral.

It’s not over yet!

Right after dinner, we shall go all together to K Urban Beach to dance, drink and have fun together!

Belem & Cristo-Rei

We've had a late night, but we’ll still have the determination and curiosity to visit the treasures of the Belem neighbourhood! So let's start with the important stuff, and have breakfast with pasteis de nata at Pastéis de Belém, the neighbourhood's historic pastry shop.

Once we’re fed, we’ll be ready to visit the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, the Padrão dos Descobrimentos, overlooking the Tagus River, and the Belém Tower. Continuing along Av. Brasília we’ll come across the famous Monument to the Discoveries, dedicated to the discoveries of Portuguese navigators. Last but not least, we’ll visit the Cristo-Rei, a concrete statue about 80 metres high, inspired by the one in Rio de Janeir!.

A night out among friends

It's time to share a Mojito at the “Park”, a top-floor car park with a great view over Lisbon's rooftops.

In the Barrio Alto, we’ll enter the festive atmosphere of the portuguesa, a neighbourhood that is perfect for spending an evening in touch with local traditions. The street is full of smoking grills with sardines ready to be eaten on top of a crusty slice of bread, accompanied by rivers of beer, of course!

Cascais and Cabo da Roca

In the morning we’ll leave Lisbon to discover its surroundings;

We’ll start our visit with a pleasant walk in the coastal area of Boca do Inferno, whose main feature is a collapsed cave where the huge waves of the Atlantic Ocean crash against the rock face. Along the way there are several points of interest to choose from: Casa de Santa Maria, the castle that houses the Condes de Castro Guimarãess Museum, Marechal Carmona Park, the Chapel of San Sebastian, the marina and the Fortaleza da Cidadela.

The pretty old town of Cascais is full of family-run restaurants where we can relax for a couple of hours and enjoy some good food.

Sintra

Sintra is a concentration of art, nature and history...

The imposing Palácio Nacional de Sintra, Portugal's oldest medieval royal palace, the Moresco Castle, perched on the peaks of the Sierra de Sinta, the colourful Pena Palace and its adjoining park, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Walking on Obidos’ walls

This charming fortified town surrounded by walls dating back to the 12th century will take us back in time, thanks to its medieval village, castle and craft shops, which are still very rustic.
Here we can taste the Ginja, the cherry liqueur typical of Óbidos! :)

Nazaré

Fishermen mending their nets, colourful boats being pulled ashore, women sitting on street corners waiting for their fishermen husbands to return and the fish market will make us fall in love with this town.

After a stroll through the narrow, downhill alleyways, we’ll go to admire the natural phenomenon for which Nazare has become famous, its giant waves. The particular conformation of the seabed unleashes waves between 20 and 30 metres high, the highest in the world!

Fatima’s secrets

In the morning we’ll get to Fatima, the city of faith, which will surely leave us impressed by the manifestations of devotion that we will see in the large square in front of the Sanctuary…

We’ll admire the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Monument to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Monument to the Berlin Wall, a piece of the wall that divided the German city in two, the Igreja da Santíssima Trindade - Basílica Menor and for the most faithful, there is the possibility of finding all kinds of religious souvenirs.

Oporto

We’ll get in Porto, ready to spend two intense days discovering the city.

The first thing we’ll have to do is get on one of the old trams aka the history driving us through a modern city. With this fantastic vehicle we’ll arrive at the mouth of the river Douro.

Not far from the Torre dos Clerigos in Rua Das Carmelitas we’ll visit the Lello and Irmao Bookshop, the location where some scenes from Harry Potter were filmed - it’s in fact one of the most beautiful bookshops in the world.

At the top of the Dos Clerigos Tower we’ll be able to admire many views of Porto, the Sé Cathedral, the wine cellar area, the Douro river, Palàcio da Bolsa, the Mercado do Bolhao and the Luis Bridge.

Here we’ll get to taste a glass of the wonderful nectar of the Gods.
