A trip to the Canaries is a trip to a place out of this world; here it feels like entering a limbo, where nature manifests itself in all its power and beauty. On this tour we’ll visit two of the islands of this archipelago: Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. We won’t miss out on anything, from partiful nights to days at sea, from trekking on volcanoes to wine tasting. The only difficult thing will be deciding what will surprise us the most: perhaps Corralejo, with its white sand dunes, or the Costa Calma, where the endless beaches invite you to take a dip in the sea, or the Timanfaya National Park, with its volcanic landscapes where we’ll have the impression of having just landed on the Moon. Hidden lagoons, underground volcanic tunnels, natural pools, sandstrips and breathtaking views: these are the Canaries - but believe us, better to see them in person because words won’t ever be able to describe such beauty.

Travel mood

“Less is More” is the number one rule for this trip: light luggage, like a travel backpack or a big gym bag! This tour will be nature and relaxation: light clothing, swimsuit and a lot of will to have fun!

Travel difficulty

Chill rhythms are what this trip is about. Sure, we’ll move sometimes but we’ll mostly enjoy natural beauties; of course there will be party times, we’ll go back home completely regenerated!

Day 2 - details
Let’s explore!

We’ll wake up on the beautiful Lanzarote but only to say goodbye: it’s already time to move to another island of the archipelago, Fuerteventura! We’ll get there by ferry and, after checking-in and unpacking our backpacks, we’ll be ready for the first adventure in the Corralejo Natural Park - and we couldn't have started better! We are in a paradise of desertlike sand dunes: a unique landscape in this island which is hit by the Calima, a wind that comes from the Sahara that brings heat and sand, which usually covers all the roads of the island.

Adventures through the sand

We’ll explore the park and look for the perfect spot to take pictures. For those in the mood ready for a little adrenaline, we can take a dune buggy excursion and drive in this magical desert - the excitement will certainly not be lacking! We’ll return to the structure in the evening and of course, if the schedule is not too tight, we’ll stop in the park even for the sunset! Let’s get ready for the evening: we have the welcome dinner waiting for us!

Included: welcome dinner & rental Money Pot: gas, ferry, entrance fees Not included: other food and beverages

Day 3 - details
Calmly cruising on the coast

Fuerteventura certainly does not lack sea and beautiful landscapes: we’ll realize it today, as we spend the day on the road along the coast of the south-east of the island, called Costa Calma. After a good breakfast, let’s get our rental cars and leave: our first stop is Playa del Cotillo, a place that gives a whole different definition to the word "paradise". Here we’ll stop to take the real first dive of this trip: wear your best swimsuit, we’ll finally get in the water!

Enjoying the sea

After swimming and putting something in our stomachs, we’ll continue towards Costa Calma. The crystal clear water of the sea is definitely inviting, so it won't take long to choose the next beach to stop for another dip. In reality, there are several beaches we can choose, from Playas de Costa Calma to Mal Nombre, up to Playa Lagoon. All enchanting places, so one thing is certain: whatever our choice will be, we’ll always fall on our feet! After a whole day in the sun we’ll return home and, after a nice cool shower, let’s get in the rhythms of Fuerteventura’s nights.

Day 4 - details
Breathtaking landscapes

Aren’t we excited for a new day to discover the natural beauty of the Canaries? Today is divided in two halves: in the morning we’ll still spend time in Fuerteventura, while in the afternoon we’ll say goodbye to the island and return to Lanzarote. Meanwhile, we’ll enjoy the sea and the panoramic views that Fuerteventura gives us: we’ll reach the Natural Park of Jandìa, a place where land and sea meet in a majestic setting. The coast here extends for kilometers and kilometers where only nature is the protagonist: we’ll take advantage of these moments to find some inner peace and harmony with mother nature - there couldn’t be a better place!

Couldn’t be smaller

After making some obligatory stops, such as Playa de Cofete or Morro del Jable, we move towards Corralejo. Here, depending on the time we have, we could consider making a short excursion to Isla de Lobos, a small unspoiled paradise where there are literally only two roads and where peace reigns unbothered. We’ll then return to Lanzarote, where we’ll check in at the hotel and prepare for the evening - maybe we’ll find a nice seafood restaurant where we could taste some local delicacies!

Included: rental Money Pot: gas, ferry, entrance fees Not included: food and beverages

The land of Volcanoes

Another day, another race: Lanzarote, like Fuerteventura, will amaze us - especially when it comes to incredible landscapes. Today we’ll immerse our body, heart and mind in the Timanfaya National Park, a real natural jewel of Spain. This park took shape after a series of volcanic eruptions dating back to the 1700s: since then, the vegetation here has not grown, except for some shrubs. This park is an immense expanse of rock and volcanic earth with a thousand shades of color, from reddish to dark brown, from ocher to black. We’ll board a bus that will take us to discover the Ruta de los Volcanes, definitely the best way to visit this place.

Hot… trekking!

With our eyes full of incredible landscapes, we’ll stop just outside the park for lunch: we’ll have to charge our batteries as well, in fact this afternoon we are walking! A hike of about 3 hours awaits us to reach the Caldera Blanca, a path that crosses volcanic landscapes that do not seem to be from this world. From the top of the caldera we can admire the huge crater and have a view of the island: the Caldera Blanca in fact rises right in the heart of Lanzarote. Tired but very happy for this intense day, we’ll return to the hotel, ready for a quiet evening, perhaps with a good cold beer and some story sharing!

Included: rental Money Pot: gas, entrance fees Not included: food and beverages

Day 6 - details

After yesterday's efforts, today will be more relaxed. In fact, we’ll enjoy a nice road trip on our cars along the Costa Teguise. Why shouldn’t we make a stop, perhaps on some beach with crystal clear water to swim or have a sunbath?

… and wine!

We’ll arrive in the village of Teguise, where we can dedicate ourselves to some shopping in some local markets, and then we’ll continue towards La Geria, a very arid volcanic area that the islanders use for ... the production of wine! Right here, we’ll allow ourselves a visit to a winery and, why not, even a wine tasting tour, to taste the local wine!

Included: rental Money Pot: gas, entrance fees, wine tour Not included: food and beverages

Volcanic caves

A memorable sunset

The day then continues on the beach: in fact, we’ll reach Playa de la Famara, where we can enjoy a little more of the beautiful Canarian sea! Once the sun begins to get less intense, we’ll move to Mirador del Rio for a breathtaking sunset: from up there we’ll have an incredible view of the sea and the island of Graciosa. We couldn't have ended the day in a better way!

Included: rental Money Pot: gas, entrance fees Not included: food and beverages

Day 8 - details
More nature

Last day in the Canaries, it could be a sad one but we won’t let it kill our enthusiasm; we still have one more than to enjoy right? Let’s live it to the fullest then! Let’s go straight to the beaches of Punta Papagayo, surrounded by a peculiar beauty, and we’ll then carry on to Los Charcones natural pools, where rock formations create small lagoons on the seashore - something we won’t quite forget both for the beauty and the body satisfaction it’ll give us. We’ll then go to Los Hervideros, where ocean’s waves crash on the cliffs and we promise, it’ll take your breath away :) Last but not the least, our goodbye dinner! Tonight we’ll toast us, fellow travelers and friends, whom for 8 days we shared our lives with! To this trip!
